The Host a Survivor Program
The Host a Survivor Program
The Host a Survivor Program provides a humanitarian relief and recovery retreat with extended stays in the US offering various community resources for survivors of the October 7, 2023 massacre, October 7th and Iran Wars and other antisemitic or antizionist terror attacks such as the mass shooting on the first night of Chanukah, Dec. 14th on Bondi Beach, AU and the attack on Yom Kippur, Oct. 2, 2025 in Manchester, UK, in order to allow survivors the time and space to heal with significant and needed distance from the physical proximity of the trauma they endured.
It is our aim and hope that survivors will find here in the US, a valuable source of community support aiding them to regain their emotional grounding, personal strength and spiritual healing, by supporting their efforts to move forward with a renewed sense of hope and purpose in the future. Survivors should be medically stable and well enough to travel a long flight to the US, with clearance from their primary care physician in Israel or where they reside, by the time they are planning on traveling to the US.
The Host a Survivor Program includes:
-
Personalized matching to stay with a host or host family, or to stay somewhere provided by a matched host or program manager, for between 2 weeks to 90 days, preferably a minimum of one month to achieve the best results from the program
-
Orientation with preparation support, either by video or phone before traveling to the US
-
Survivors are encouraged to travel to the US in pairs or groups and will have their stays arranged close enough to keep connected during their stay
